Welcome Statement:
"Integrity, Responsibility, Tolerance; We build more than campfires!"
Welcome to Camp Hidden Valley! Our facility has been at Mellow Road, north of Jarrettsville,
Maryland, since 1967. This is the year when the property was donated to Camp Fire Boys and
Girls® by Mrs. Herbert D. Hammond and Mrs. Charles Robins. The camp is situated on a 200-acre
wooded area that is adjacent to Rocks State Park Hidden Valley area and has Deer Creek running
through the property. Camp Hidden Valley is a year round not-for-profit organization serving the
northern Harford County community with programs in youth development, family enrichment
and summer day camping. Our 200+ acres of meadows, forests, streams and wetlands are
essential to our mission. We strive to get children, youth and families outdoors to appreciate
what nature has to offer. Our mission here at Camp Hidden Valley is to build caring, confident
youth and future leaders. The American Camping Association does certify this camp yearly.
